From Passion to Profession
Aviation has been part of my life ever since I was a little girl. I remember when my Air Force mechanic father introduced me to aerodynamics while building a wooden airplane in our backyard. I'll never forget the thrill of being behind aircraft controls at just 12 years old, discovering flight for the first time. These experiences set me on a path through AFJROTC in High School, a Naval Academy acceptance, and eventually UC Berkeley on an NROTC scholarship. I wanted to fly jets!
Although life took me in a very different direction for a while, my passion has never waned. Over the past 15 years, I have built a strong career in high-tech, mostly as a consultant running my own business. However, during the pandemic, I realized tech wasn't feeding my soul anymore, and those pilot daydreams became impossible to ignore. Since returning to aviation, my life has become vibrant again, despite the challenges. This transformation is exactly what I want to help you experience.
The butterfly in my logo symbolizes transformation, growth, and strength—qualities every developing pilot embodies. They also honor my grandmother's memory and family bonds. I would be honored to guide your metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly through The Butterfly Effect!
